Yeah I knew you had to start with one food didn't know how long though. I thought about waiting till his 6 month follow up to see what his Dr. Saids so I know exactly what I'm doing. But I'm excited to try him on food lol @beebaby,

I started my daughter on the oatmeal/rice cereal 2Tbs a night mixed with breast milk while also Brestfeeding. She is now getting one/two punches a day along with feeding off the boob 5 to 6 times a day.

So I'm just going to do his usual bottle/breastfeeding and then try solids maybe at night like dinner time for starters? I have rice cereal. I tried to get him to eat it a couple weeks ago and he didn't like it lol so I didn't try again. I just wanted to see how he'd do. So I wanted to try some like sweet potatoes cause he'll be 6 months exactly Sunday. @brittyoung55,

Yeah Ivy didn't like the rice cereal but she liked the oatmeal. I did the one food thing too but when it came to carrots or beets she hated them!

I would wait a day, so don't give him anything that day but formula or breastmilk and then start a new food. That's what my daughters dr said.
