How long your cycle last, Did u have a c-section or natural birth?

I had vaginal birth an I'm 6 weeks post pardum I haven't gotten my period yet

Oh sorry yes I did for sorry exactly 4 weeks after birth. but I guess that was my body cleaning out everything from my baby. but since then I haven't gotten my actual period yet @katirashawn

I bled for 19 days after my vaginal birth and my period returned at 5 1/2 months pp, I didn't breastfeed.

I bled for around/less than 14 days after my c section and my period returned at 12 months, but I was breastfeeding.

Everyone bleeds for different times- I always have really light flows so I always figured that's why even my postpartum bleeding is mellow. Is your doctor aware of the bleeding lasting that long? If you're feeling dizzy or passing clots I would schedule an appointment with your OBGYN sooner than later. They may put you on birth control or if you're already on one kind they may switch it up.

@kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom yea my cycles use to be light and lasted no more than 4dys,yea I'm still seeing clots but sometimes it's no red then it's light I'm just like what's going on

Have you gone to your postpartum appointment yet? Usually done at 6 weeks PP?

@kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom I know and I just emailed them again bout the situation and rescheduling

I bled for 8 weeks after vaginal birth.... and got my period at 3 months
