Might be too many baths, allergic to the soap or lotion. My daughter has to have all organic stuff otherwise she breaks out. Literally down to the type of washcloth. Has to be "organic cotton" 🙄 she also has really bad eczema and that's what it looked like when it started. I had to reduce baths to every other day, a prescription cream (aquaphor medicated ointment works just as good) and only put her in cotton clothes. No wool, polyester, or nylon. Also maybe your baby is allergic to something you're wearing? Try using the hypoallergenic dreft on literally everything and don't wear any perfume or scented deodorant. Cut everything out and slowly introduce everything back so you can figure out what exactly it is

I bathed my daughter every day because she spits up everywhere all day on everything so I felt like she needed to take a bath, and if was part of our bedtime routine so she knew it was time for bed. but my doctor said to stop. I just use a damp washcloth to get the yuckies off and give her a bath every other or every two days to give her skin a break. Also don't know if you're wiping him down with wipes, but maybe he's allergic to that too? My daughter was allergic to all the wipes I was using so I had to use the naturals by huggies!
As long as he doesn't have a fever at all, it probably is his body getting rid of toxins from the sickness or skin irritation. I would suggest Aveeno lotion right after his bath to see if that helps!
My brother had that exactly and turns out he is lactose and tolerant. So anything with dairy was causing him to react that way. Does look like an allergic reaction.

Maybe prickly heat? My daughter get that if she is too hot in tighter clothing. She's also allergic to certain fabrics so maybe that's what it is.

@kailey.gallentine I have been bathing him twice a day! He got a really bad stomach bug that he just got over, so I was bathing him twice.

My daughter gets this sometimes and if it doesn't seem to bother then it's probably just sensitive skin
