Delivering with a toddler in the room?

Delivering with a toddler in the room? Hub and I have no one to trust to watch our 2 year old once I go into labor. I wanted opinions about having my toddler with hub and I during delivery. I think it'll be nice for her to see her baby brother right away instead of just bringing home a strange baby. But what do you think? Anybody else deliver with a toddler in the room? Would love to hear experiences. Thanks ladies!

Need advice: should a newborn and toddler sleep in our room? My toddler sleeps with us, currently. She wakes up a couple of times a night to make sure we are in the room with her or for water. Or move toddler upstairs by herself in her own room? Or should my new room be the guest room upstairs which is right next to my toddlers room? Our current room is big enough to have a toddler bed and a crib. What has been your experience?
