Can always use wall decals to brighten it up :) they come right off. That's what I did for my sons room.

I know it sucks but! There are so many ways to brighten the room up and add your own special touch. It may even make the project more exciting and challenging coming up with a way to do so.

Go for a re usable murial. My parents bought a beach scene with a lighthouse to put in their wall and its re usable so it doesn't tear up the wall. Or you could do a lot of frames with pictures that pop.

@twinsandcounting @morganmommy79 I'll probably do some bright curtains and such but any wall sticks most likely won't work since the wall is so dark it'll blend in. I want to do Sage green and grey but wonder if it will be too dark now :/

Hang a large quilt in those colors or frame a small one. Hanging mirrors can brighten a room and make it appear larger. If you're having a girl you could always use sheer panels to draw attention to the crib and add color. :)

@morganmommy79 yea I was thinking about hanging quilts to help brighten it up. I'm gonna put shears on the windows as well :)

well.... i mean theres a little scrubbing involved but it all definitly comes off. Theres even peel on&off wallpapers that look like wood paneling, idk haha im just givin ideas

yea im doing more research about it right now & i wouldnt recommend it, only because its a long process. It will definitly come off the paneling but when you go to take it off you have to peel the 1st layer of Vinyl and then you need to prep a bowl of Dish detergent & warm water, its just a super long process and it all depends on if the wallpaper wants to co-op with you, i wouldnt recommend it, maybe buy a bunch of baby posters and hang them up, thats another idea, get enough posters to cover the whole room, that would be alot better than that dark wood
