My sons not very close to sitting up by himself yet... Is this bad for almost 6 months old?

I thought the same then one day he literally was just sitting up by himself and he's 6 months. It went from falling right over to balance. I got him a sit me up and it strengthened his back and after a week of sitting in it he was sitting up by himself idk if that was the reason but I swear by it lol also worked with him a lot on it.

His pediatrician said they don't usually do it till like 7 months so you have some time. Just gotta keep working at it

I stressed for months about Isabelle sitting up and then when she was about 6 months she finally just got it! She still thrusts back and falls over at times but she's gotten pretty good.

I would practice with my daughter everyday on sitting up. She's 4 months and pretty much has it down. She gets tired kinda fast and slumps.

Yeah I'm starting to work on him a lot more now that he's almost 6 months. I saw my friends baby sitting up by herself and my son is only like a week older then her. I know every baby develops at their own pace some quicker than others I just don't want him to fall behind some how😞 I have a seat that he sits in good holding himself up so that should help him grow his little muscles strong. He rolls around like crazy and has good head control, he try's lifting himself up when he's on his back so he's trying. I sit him up in his boppy pillow but he just falls forward. Yeah see my daughter has only rolled over twice. I don't know why she won't/can't.

My son has been rolling since one month and now he just whizs around on the floor and bed front and back. Every baby is different. My mom said my twin was walking at 9 months and I didn't till 15 months. Gave her a little break lol I guess we shouldn't worry to much as long as they are trying and doing some things. @erica95,
