Question about breastfeeding pumping: can u pump more milk with the machine on low suction n if ur more relaxed vs pumping on high suction and massaging n squeezing ur breast to help get the milk out?

@nessa614 only pumping but sorry to clarify it's 1 1/2 oz from each breast every 2 hrs but now since I've kept it on low suction I've been getting 3 1/2 oz each breast every 2 to 3 hrs

It's best to be as stress free as possible to help with flow. I wasn't able to breastfeed my first daughter because my ex stressed me out so much my production stopped.

Yes, I've heard that before and it worked for me. I would start it on high to get the milk flowing then turn it down lower but higher suction. Everyone's body is different so you just have to trial and error what settings work best for you.

I pump on whatever suction level feels comfortable & massage. I massage a minute or 2 before pumping & while I pump
