Tips on transitioning your child from a crib too a toddler bed? I tried Last night he was not having it. He won't sleep anywhere else but his crib. -_- which sucks because his crib broke and had too get a toddler bed.

He won't sleep in it he will just get right back up. And he won't let me lay down with him. He likes too sleep by himself lol. @beebaby

He won't let me even in the same room. He sleeps like me. We can't have sound, anyone in the room, or a huge light on. @beebaby

Oh I wish he would listen like that. I'm just gonna not get sleep for a couple day's trying to transition him lol. @beebaby

Maybe try a nap time with the big boy bed? Maybe get him excited that he's growing and can get cool things for bedtime and naptime. Like a super cool sticker for every night or nap. And then maybe a new toy if you can. I did that for my nephews with potty training. He got stickers or an m&m every time he potty in the big potty. And eventually I bought him things his smaller siblings couldn't have. Crayons, coloring books, activities books. He loved his special treatment

Maybe let him pick out his bed?? I changed my daughters bed to toddler bed to soon for her and she just kept crying I broke her bed. My aunt showed her picture and got her a big girl bed.
