It took me a really long time to come to the decision of not breast feeding. Now with my date to be induced being only 1 day away, I'm starting to bash myself over it. A part of me just feels like it's wrong not to, but at the same time I just really don't have the urge to breast feed. I hate this feeling😔

I was completely on the fence but im SO glad I made the decision to suck it up and just breast feed. Either way baby will do great but from experience im glad I did it

I'm glad I decided to BF too. It's been an amazing experience. 5 months & going strong💪 either way is fine though, don't beat yourself up over it

My first I wanted to breastfeed but was unable to so I had to formula feed her and I felt like the worst person in the world, but I was able to come to terms with it. Now with this one I am able to exclusively breastfeed and I'm loving it. Do what's best for you and the baby that causes the least amount of stress between the two of you.

Pump. You don't have to put the baby to the breast. Being a parent comes with a lot of work and patience. Our bodies were made to nourish our children. Give it a shot at least for the first 6 weeks of life when your milk has those important antibodies that protect your baby. Then see how it goes.

I would try it to see. It saves so much money!!! But if you don't want to no need to feel wrong not to!

I'm not gonna breast feed. Yes there are good things about it. But do what ur comfortable doing.

Consider trying it. There are so many benefits for you and baby. You can request a lactation consultant in the hospital after you deliver and go over all concerns, questions, and be shown how to do it. Might ease your mind. Ultimately it's up to you- i formula fed my first kid and I'm currently breastfeeding my second. I feel like breastfeeding has been so much easier than it was formula feeding (I'm not sure if other moms agree). Give it a try or at least consider it.

Have you looked into exclusively pumping?

Do not feel ashamed about not breast feeding. I honestly did not want to at first with my son when he was born because I know how tiring it'll be especially if I pumped. But I couldn't anyways because I ended up having a heart disease from pregnancy and I was put on heart meds. No matter what fed is best!
