I had a herding dog while pregnant. You can teach any dog to stay away from your feet. They're easier to get trained before the baby comes as well. I'd so go ahead and get one! Make sure to adopt from a shelter though, or you cold accidentally be supporting horrible puppy mills by buying from a pet store! Also really look into breeds so you can get a breed that fits into your lifestyle.
