@boymama0908, I want too, but people say that if you don't shave the hair helps with not tearing or something, I'm going to be 35 weeks Friday so I should probably make a decision soon 😂

I did with both of my babies lol even though they don't care 🤷‍♀️ I just felt more comfortable lol

I shaved before going lol. Doctors are used to seing everything so I dont think they care lol. I think it's a personal matter. The doctor had to cut me because It was taking me too long to push her out so it didn't matter if I was shaved or not 🙈

I shaved mine the day I went into labor with my daughter and didnt tear at all.

I shaved my whole pregnancy with my daughter and still tore but only 1 stitch (she had a bigger head though). My son I shaved whenever with him and didn't tear didn't even need stitches. He was 4 more ounces than my daughter.

It sounds like a myth. The tearing is caused by baby size or of baby gets stuck, or if your doctor decides whether you need to be cut. Hair doesn't have anything to do with it.

@constancetinople, I looked it up, they say that it's just easier if you need stitches or some crap and with bacteria or something idk 😂😂 either way I guess it's a matter of opinion for people lol

@mommy_too_be3.24.17 makes sense lol either way, if you need stitches I'm sure the nurses can shave you. But i had my hubby shave me before i went into labor lol Just because i wanted to feel clean.

@constancetinople, that's one of the main reasons I did it to feel clean. Lol

I didn't shave my bald... I took it low to a 1/8 inch lower than I normally go.
