Don't be concerned about your almost three year old speech when you keep referring to things such as food "num num" and asking the child to get in the "vroom vroom" (car) and just constantly talking to him like he is a little baby. It's ok to do it but there is a cut off age for it. Talk to your kid like your talking to me refer to food as food and cars as cars and animal as animals...sorry just ranting I've never been a big fan of baby talk and my friend keeps talking to her son in this other language and it's not conducive to his development what so ever
