My son loves his daddy so much and sometimes it breaks my heart. Last night my boyfriend was sitting on his phone and my son crawled over and handed him a toy And was trying to play with him. He was hitting the toy against my boyfriends leg over and over again saying dada and he completely ignored my son. Eventually my son just sat there with this sad look on his face. It's like he knew that he was being ignored. I just broke down and silently cried. I never want my son to feel like that and it hurts me that somebody would choose their phone over my son. This happens over and over again and he never realizes what he's doing wrong.

It's a giant turn off too. When men don't get involved with their children. When my fiance is playing with his kids, and my son and feeds them, tell them he loves them, even the tinniest things makes me fall harder for him but when he won't listen to them, or brushes them off, even on accident, it makes me look at him different

Yea it hurts me so much. And when I try to talk to him about it he just gets defensive. I don't think he understands that even though my son is young he is smart and can understand gestures and facial expressions. He knows when he's not being paid attention to. It does turn me off. I didn't want anything to do with him for the rest of the night @allyk.xmommy,

My husband never plays with my son. My son has been crawling for a month now and he's only seen him do it once. He gets home picks him up gives him a kiss then goes to take a nap. Then feeds him and usually watches tv and let's him roll around on the bed by himself 😣@scidg3,
