Need to rant coz I'm getting so upset. We been living at my partners parents house since October and we are desperate to move out. We pay them £500 every month n that doesn't include food. You can imagine how skint we are,especially as its just my partner at work. The plan was to move up north where accommodation is cheaper but my partner just got a promotion and his job is really good n has good benefits for us as a family (they gave him a month off paid when Olivia was born). Now I am stuck on whether to make the move up north purely because accommodation is cheaper and my partner having to leave a really good job. Or do I stay down here get a job where I'm able to take Olivia and move into expensive accommodation. I really don't know what to do for the best n it's upsetting me

It's a very frustrating situation. We've been in the same position twice now. We were living with my parents when Morgan was born as my partner was made redundant. We then moved areas when he got a new job. His the main bread winner as they say so we went where was best for him. I can get a job anywhere, which I did when we had settled. It's definitely a hard decision and I guess you both need to sit down & talk about your options & what's best for you all as a family.

£500 seems a bit steep? I understanding participating towards bills that your all using also and maybe a little rent? But that seems quote a bit when you could have your own place for that to rent x

@sara-lou indeed it is. Especially when we giving his parents all this money and no means to save at all,so we feel very stuck. We definitely need to make a decision soon because my maternity ends in June and I haven't got a job to go back to. Her grandparents don't really really pay much attention to her which upsets me too but hey aunty n cousin loves her. If we move up north there's only my brother,niece n sister in law up there. Down here we have more people plus all our friends too. I honestly feel completely lost on what to do x

@littleelf85 yep tell me about it,I hate it that they have fully taken advantage of our situation. That's a good point. I'm only upset because we have to live with his parents n they show no affection to their granddaughter which breaks my heart. If I could get a job tomorrow in the same area n move out while my partner keeps his job then I would be ridiculous happy x

@littleelf85 yeah I do because it's either that or be downstairs with my mother in law watching her smoke on her electronic cig n watching crap tv. She has held the baby twice since she's been born (she's 3mths in March). It breaks my heart. I go out every day for a few hrs just to get away x
