my husbands schedule is pretty crazy so we decide on one night whenever we can and he doesn't schedule any jobs that night this way we know it's for us . we go out to eat or watch a movie . maybe go to a lounge and talk . we discuss everything we feel and just family stuff , anything that is on our minds . I think no matter how many kids u have, u always have to be a wife first, listen to your husband and help him when he needs you just like you'd expect from him. always make time for eachother , a relationship always needs attention and care it's the main thing in building a foundation for your home , so that quality time we spend together makes us closer and keeps the love and warmth in our home. even if it means to get a babysitter for an hour and take a walk, it's really important to take a breather with your S/O because you both need to relax sometimes .

vday should be like any other day but i gotta admit it would be nice to do something fun !!! I remember when we were teenagers!!! Ahh good times (and fun lol )and now I guess with the more kids and the more years that come he turns into a grandpa 👴🏾 ( a boring 30 year old grandpa) 😂

I think doing any kind of activity or some kind of communicating makes a huge difference. We do dinner together alone after the kids go to bed or play games. Anything that breaks up the normal -sit on the couch and watch dvr shows- routine. I heard it best on a talk show, she said have date moments. Especially with little kids getting a sitter once a week or even once a month is not very practical. Making 30 minutes of down time into a " date moment" has made a great impact on our relationship. 💙

We agreed to not getting each other anything this year. We decided to just get lots of candy and sweets and some apple cider and watch movies all day! And take a bath together to top off the night 😍 best Valentine's Day so far 👌 shouldn't be about the gifts or how much u spend. Should be just being together and having fun ❤

My husband's in the navy, so his schedule can become all crazy at times. Unfortunately, we've only gotten two date nights alone because we've only left our little one with family. For like an hour. You're probably wondering "what can you do for an hour? It's not enough time." Well we just drive around and talk. Or stop for ice cream, etc. Everyday can be an stressful day. Him because of work and me because of our two dogs and a baby. But we don't take out on each other. When he's home from work we ask each other about our day and kiss and hug. We talk and cuddle when our son is sleeping. Now our baby sleeps in his own room, so we have adult time. Of course, that's when we're not tired. And on the weekend it's just for the three of us. We go out all day and just have fun. Because it's family time. I'm a first time mom, and I know that it can be hard sometimes because you don't know what you're doing at times but relax. Breathe and count to three. You're doing just great and learn something new everyday. I've also learned that from now on, I should tell my husband what I want for every holiday that requires a present. Or not give something at all.

My husband and I do at home dates when we put our daughter to bed. With his schedule it doesn't really work for us to go out. So we bring them home. We'll have picnics in our loft, bring take out home and light candles for a fancy dinner or cook dinner in the kitchen. Like last night after we put our daughter down we got dressed up and made a meal together

My boyfriend and I usually plan 1-2 date nights. We go to dinner and then after go to the movies. And hit up our local bar for a few drinks.
We ask his mom to watch our son for the night. Usually we leave during dinner/bedtime. It's always great gettin out of the house and have those days nights. Talking, and having that connection makes me happy !! Mom and dad could use this time away from the crazy 2 year old.

Well we have only went on a lunch date since newborn was born. She's two months now and think this weekend we will go out. As a family tho. But before baby was born and it was just daughter we would leave her at his moms and go out for the whole day we even did a over night stay somewhere on vday last year ❤️️😍
