What do you ladies think about baby pillows? The ones with the hole in so they rest head in hole bit? My Lil girl sleeps in a sleep positioner and can't roll yet anyway, she's got a cold and I put the pillow (which I bought for her rocker chair during day) under head and she settled straight away bless her.

I personally wouldn't as it's evidenced they increase the sids risk. If your baby prefers to be elevated a wedge hog or similar abs under the mattress is the way to go. It's not that they may just roll it's that mattresses go under strict control for chemicals in them and I recently read an article about many flat head syndrome pillows etc were risky for babies and there was calls for them to not be sold. People still think if it's being sold then it's safe. Many of them do say in small print do not let them be unsupervised and follow guidelines for sids reduction. But many don't read that. This is how they get round selling them. They aren't suitable to be slept on unless u are watching over them. But it is up to you. Elevated top of cot would be better too.

@suzie80, thanks honey I've took it out from under her head now, I've been watching her on monitor till I came to bed but I couldn't rest knowing I might not have done the right thing. She is already elevated on her next2me crib so should be ok, thanks honey xxx

I use the mimos pillow as its the only one that is breathable(it really is i tested it lol) quit expensive(70) but so worth it as it helpes his tiny bit of flat head and my LO loves it xx

Had to get it as he kept sleeping and well always really having his head on one side and it was starting to get reeeaaally flat. It helped so much. If i didnt need it for that perpous i wouldnt have bought it tho haha xxx
