I Just left my weekly NST appointments at Dr..
. Since Vayda is measuring so big, and if I dont have her with in 2 weeks I will be induced in 13 days!
Have any of you Mommies been induced.. what do they do? I am am so nervous 😑

I was induced with my first, they just give you this medicine in an IV and then constantly check to see if you're opening up and then they just decide when it's time to have the little one

I was induced with my first but for a medical emergency. But even still it wasn't that bad! I didn't have a normal induction because of the other medication I was on but I do know it can sometimes take a little longer than a natural birth. Good luck mamma!

It wasn't bad actually just went in early in the morning the start meds to soften the cervix , broke my water and my son was born four hours later.

I only had to get cervadil, the thing they stick up you to soften cervix, that started labor for me, contractions within a couple hours...didn't have to have pitocin, yay!! They broke my water right before I pushed. I had to have an episiotomy bc they needed to use forceps to get her out. From cervadil insertion to her birth, it was less than 7 hours

I was induced with my 3rd son and it wasn't as bad as what everyone was telling me. You go to the hospital in the morning and they hook you up on an IV drip of medication to help induce labor and contractions. TIP: Have breakfast before you head in because you aren't allowed to eat while being induced.

I had to be induced for the same reason. My labor was over 24 hours and it totally sucked....but, Emma came out healthy and by the preferred route. Mission accomplished. Labor, even if it sucks, is temporary. Your daughter is forever.
