If your hands/fingers and face also start to swell, you should call up your L&D department or your OB doctor. If you start getting headaches or seeing spots definitely go in and be seen. Swelling in pregnancy can totally be normal but a lot of swelling and if you gain a lot of weight (like several pounds) in a short amount of time it could be a sign of preeclampsia. Just continue listening to your body. If something doesn't seem right as time goes on, go be seen.

omg i feel your pain. i swelled so bad last pregnancy that my ankles literally seeped. was horrible. elevate!!
