I would never be ok with that!!!

I mean my son does he's 9 but walks thru the neighborhood which wet live in a nice one and there is a crushing guard but if be more cautious of a 7 year old girl depending on the route

I personally think it's wrong.. just the mere fact that a child cannot fight of a predator. regardless of the neighborhood it can happen anywhere. I live in the suburbs and i drive my almost 13 yr old to school everyday. She walks home the days I have appointments or hubby picks her up. I think if your home all day you should bring your 7 yr old to school. Her mother should be concern for her safety especially because she doesn't work and the child has no supervision no walking buddy like wth wrong with ppl nowadays. haha last time my mom drove me to school i belive i was 7 (it was a one time thing) she was a single mom and working very early so it is understandable.. but i will always walk with friends..

It's good if there is that usual crowd to walk with...but if a parent is home they can definitely walk the 7yr old to and from school

@eze.love with a crowd not so bad and mom working sometimes you have no choice... do whatcha gotta do.. but if the mom or dad butt is at home not working all day and cannot drop their kid off no excuse.. tired from doing what 🤔 @pnutbutta exactly.. like @eze.love stated there is always special circumstances but the one I'm talking about it is just laziness SMH

@pinkfulskies too many weirdos lurking out there waiting to prey on the innocent. like if it was directly across the street from the person's house and you can intervene if some nut trys to grab your child then ok.. if not then monitor your child for his or her safety. My son was only allowed at the park when I took him or he went with his friends parent. I started to allow him when he turned 11 and I still wasn't far behind and neighborhood wasn't bad. I dunno I just couldn't let my 7 yr old walk alone with nobody

There should be a law were kids can't be alone outside at a certain age or something there one about them being home alone so what is the difference

I don't agree a 7 year old walking by themselves!! I had saw a little girl walk home before when we were driving passed the lake ( the lake is huge, walking one complete side takes atleast 25 mins) & she looked like she was 5!!!!!! I was wondering if she even knew how to tie her shoes let alone be able to walk the scary streets with crazy people around that are out for children. Its sickening. My sister lives right across the street from the school but still brings my niece to the front door.
