I give my daughter Tylenol right after. I also make sure she has comfortable clothes. In hot/warm weather I dress her in a romper or dress in winter the footsie pajamas. Because the shots go on their leg this way there is less touching afterward.

There's also this vibrating bee thing that helps them while they are getting the shot. One places the object on next to where the shot will be and it vibrates, doing that relaxes the muscles so they don't get bruised.

@t142, where can I buy the vibrating bee thing? And would the doctor know what to do with it or is it something I need to do. Also how long does it take for swelling/hurting and stuff. I'm so scared for her to get them :(

I know Amazon sells it but I forgot the name of it. A small one would be fine for her. I really hope she does good. My daughter so far hasn't gotten any bruises. 🙌🏻 I know how you feel. I cry every time we go for shots. 😢
