Okay, my baby is two weeks and some change and he all of the sudden has become really REALLY fussy and won't sleep. The last 3 days I will feed him, burp him, and he falls asleep and the second I put him down he wakes up. I was up with him for 5 hrs today, with a constant cycle of getting him to sleep and then him waking up every 10 minutes. could this be colic/gas? What can I do? I use nuk bottles, Idk if that makes a difference. I need help, I'm desperate. 😭

most likely it's colic/gas. the dr can prescribe some medicine or you can buy some at the pharmacy.

My baby is 4 weeks an the same way ... she has bad gas problems so I started giving her gas drops in her bottle at every feeding she's less fussy buy still won't sleep. 20 minutes then she's up @sarahbelle

I highly recommend Dr. Brown bottles if it is gas/colic. It will cut down alot on air intake when baby is eating. Also use gas drops if need be. The swing is your friend also. The swing saved us when our son wouldn't stop crying. He loved that thing..

My son did the same thing so I just resorted to sleeping with him on the couch. My couch is like a twin bed so we have room. I went a week with literally no sleep I was desperate. He's now 3 months but the downside is he still sleeps in my arms and I'm trying to wing him to sleep on his own. At that age even at three months they are getting use to being outside of mama so they want to feel your warmth and smell you. I'm ok with co sleeping I just wish I got him use to being in bed not the couch because now my back is dying😔

Sometimes my son would just be hungry and cluster feed. It could also be gas. You can get gas drops or gripe water worked for us too. I co- slept with my son till he was three months then he started getting too big, but it worked for us. They say the first three months u can't spoil ur baby enough, and it's the fourth trimester. Jaxson is a year old now and has no problems sleeping on his own if ur worried about that too. It just takes time and every day brings new challenges! Keep your head up ur doing great!

My son has been colic since 2 weeks. If you have any questions PM me. I will say, colic is awful. Signs of colic are: Crying for 3 hours, 3 times a week, for 3 weeks. The crying is typically inconsolable. So, if you're calming him down but he's just waking up and crying to be held. That's not necessarily colic.

At 2-3 weeks is a big growth spurt. He will probably cluster feed, want more mommy time, and be rather fussy. Hang in there mama.
