To keep it real it didn't hurt to me! I mean yea it hurts a little and uncomfortable but it's not like you're dying pain lol as soon as I got my epidural I didn't feel nothing at allllll I couldn't even feel him come out or nothing I didn't even know if I was pushing or not but he came out within a few pushes

Honestly it felt like I was getting an Indian burn but on your vagina it wasn't really that bad and I didn't have time to get the epidural

honestly. an 11. haha for me labor was a nightmare, and I had epidural redone twice and it didn't work. I'm only telling you this because you need to mentally prepare that labor is unpredictable an doesn't always go as planned which is why it's good to have a good support team and good coping mechanisms for the pain. just remember it DOES end and you truly forget the pain after. Once you see your little ones face it's all worth it :)

I can't even remember all I know is it is NOT like menstrual cramps. It's WAY WORSE. Lol so if you can do it naturally go ahead girl. I lasted an hour an a half before I wanted iv drugs and an hour before I wanted an epidural. It's very intense!

@dess0712, It's hurts! Lol. I ended up with an epidural 3 times because it would only work for a short period of time. I was in labor for 24 hours and then had a C section because I was no longer dilating. The C section wasn't bad, recovery was a struggle with taking care of a newborn but it was fine. But like most mothers will tell you - once that baby is in your arms it doesn't even matter! Labor and delivery is extremely unpredictable! I didn't even know it was possible for the epidural not to work properly! Lol. After delivery they said she was likely on a nerve or something causing the epidural it to take on one side. My right side would stay numb but my left side wouldn't. It's all ok what you want! Good luck!

For me, it was bad...but it wasn't the worst thing in the world lol. I didn't really mind the contractions cause I knew they'd go away and then my epidural had to be done twice but that really wasn't all that awful just kinda scary. I felt him come out but it wasn't like I was gonna die lol
