Here we are in our empty home, taking all our memories with us. I stood in this empty house last night and cried a few (okay a lot) of happy/sad/ nostalgic/excited tears. Nate and I sat on the floor and cried as we talked about specific memories we had here. Our first night in this house was almost 5 years ago. We had just got back from backpacking Europe, it was 3am, we were exhausted, we tossed a mattress on the floor and spent the next year renovating it ourselves. I was pregnant twice in this house and labored twice in this house. I saw my husband become a Father within these walls and I saw myself become a Mother. I watched my first baby roll over, crawl, walk, and talk within these walls. I saw him become a brother and I fell in love for a 3rd time with our second little boy. This is where my husband and I both decided to quite our jobs to start our own businesses. We worked long nights in the basement as we tried to make our dreams come true. We saw it all unfold in this house. Those memories are so dear to me. The happiest moments in my whole life have been here. I have always been sentimental about the places I live. I've been this way since I was little, it's just the way I'm wired. I hold my memories close. Now I'm excited to pocket them all up and start our new chapter. Thank you for being here and for watching as our little family changes and grows.
