Hello first time mom here! I have a newborn and had some recent scares with her eating! Found out she has an upper lip and tongue tie. Any mamas have experience with these causing reflux or trouble eating? She's breastfed and we saw a lactation consultant the other day for help with the reflux it maybe causing. We are seeing an ENT tomorrow. Just looking for some tips! I've never heard of the upper lip tie before but was told it's more on the severe side.

Any mom's in here have a kid with lip tie? My older son just hit my boy twin in the mother and he is bleeding a bit. So when we went to look at it we noticed how low the upperr lip is connected to the teeth and gums. There is no cavity above like you should have, like that that empty space. We thought maybe his upper lip got caught in between his teeth but it's not the case. He was not hit that hard.
