I fast for 12 hours. Only water and black coffee. Then I count calories. I figured out how many calories I can eat and just made sure I stick to it. If you exercise you can have more calories than not exercising but I still lost weight without exercising and just tracking what I ate.

I had a lot of luck using Herbalife products. I would have a shake for breakfast (which is more than I would normally have because I always skip breakfast), a shake for lunch (which I didn't always have time to eat, especially at work) and then at night I would eat whatever. Before starting Herbalife I ate a ton of pizza so I cut down on pizza, burgers and junk and it made a huge difference.

The most important thing is to make sure your intake doesn't exceed what your body spends. And it's perfectly fine to not eat everytime you're hungry. And fasting is okay too as long as you do it right!
