This may sound strange to complain about, but my husbands parents always want my daughter (who's 5 months old) to spend the night. Or they wanna keep her for multiple days.

Obviously, I don't necessarily owe them the right to have my daughter for days at a time but I know that his moms other grand children just recently moved away, and she's not use to not having children around so now it's all being subjected on to me and my husband.

Am I being too sensitive?

I mean his parents help watch my daughter while him and I work, but I just don't see it necessary for her to stay the night or two nights. Other than they only live 35 mins away.

Another thing, I think it has to do with the fact that his mom and my mom butt heads all the time, and it normally ends in someone getting upset, so I think they are avoiding watching my daughter at my house because my mom lives there...ugh

I just let them take her today until tomorrow night, and I'm already having anxiety about her not being home when I get off work.

Youre right you dont owe them anything and thats your baby girl! If you are feeling anxiety at all for any reason you should express that to them! They already watch her while you work! They need to stop being so overbearing! I havent let my 4 month old go with his grandparents yet. Im just not ready.

I know they'll take care of her but I'm not comfortable with her staying the night. And I'm more concerned that they will expect this to be a regular thing, which is not how I want it to be. My husband doesn't see and issue with it because he says they want more time with her, but between me working and school, I feel like I need more time with her.... this is so irritating.

Do what makes you comfortable.
