So my best friend sent me this. I'm like I'm having a C-Section whats the recovery list for that.

Pads for bleeding and for over the incision site (so your clothes don't rub against it), granny panties, stool softener (the hospital gave me some after my c section), nursing pads. I would recommend a stomach band but the hospital didn't supply me one and since my delivery was an emergency c section I didn't have time to buy one.

I just had one last Tuesday. My first. Recovery for me was a bedside kit for you and baby so you don't have to get up every 5 minutes. Diapers, wipes, burp cloth, blanket, pillow for support when feeding baby, snacks, water, your meds... keep your incision clean and I always dry mine with a blow dryer on cool setting. Press a pillow against your lower stomach if you cough, sneeze, or laugh. Walk as much as allowed to avoid stiffness and more swelling. And keep a book of game on your phone to pass boredom of just sitting. Lol

@morganmommy79 knows what's up. Since mine was an emergency c section at 29 weeks my baby was sent to the nicu so I didn't have a baby to get up and change or feed while I was recovering so I didn't even think about making sure you have all your baby's stuff within arms reach. My big thing was I needed a chair next to my bed when I was released from the hospital so I could sliver out of it. Lol. That, and water and pain pills.
