Hey mamas, is it normal for my son to not want to eat any solids? He is 8months.. and ever since he started teething he has not wanted to take a single bite of solids.... im starting to be concerned he usually eats 2-3 times a day and now everytime i offer it to him he closes his mouth and turns away.. should i be concerned? He has been nursing more than usual but i still feel he should be eating:/

Have you tried super cold food? Like really cold watermelon cut up into small pieces?? Give it to him on a high chair or something so he can try and pick it up himself. The spoon might be whats turning him off. The cold foods will feel good on his gums. @jaycobsmommy

My daughter gets like that every time she tries cutting a new tooth. Completely normal. Tinley went two weeks before she would take anything other than her milk.

Maybe try letting him play with some food in his high chair? He may not get a majority in his mouth but if the spoon is what's triggering him to turn away it may help him to become interested in foods again
