It depends on what you are taking. Some birth control pills may cause swelling, drowsiness, weight gain, headaches, vomiting, nausea, and more. If the side effects gets worse, you might need to talk to your doctor about it.

True ! Uhm well ever since I started taking them I feel so fatigue , and an increased in appetite ! I feel no energy what so ever !!! @loville1990,

Fatigue is one of the side effects. When I use to take birth control pills, I was hungry all the time too. What kind of birth control are you taking?

They are called Estarylla ! And the gain of appetite I'm having that Symptom as well ! I wake up in the middle of the night wanting to snack !!! Agh @loville1990,

And it may cause headache, breast tenderness, abdominal swelling, dizziness, lack of energy, lack of interest in sex, dry mouth, nausea, breast enlargement, vomiting, yeast infection, water retention, yellow-brown patches on the skin, sun sensitivity on the skin and weight loss.
