I'm currently trying to ween my son off of it too and he's already one. It's getting better because he only wants it when he goes to bed at night and that's it, and I take it away once he's asleep and it falls out of his mouth. I hide it from him during the day so he can't see it and distract him from it by taking him outside or playing with his toys.

I had one til I was about 2 years old! My parents finally cut the tips of the pacifier off and told me the sugar bugs ate it.

Give her a few more months and see if she'll do it on her own, isn't daughter would not sleep without hers, she was also super picky about pacifiers and one day out of no where she just didn't take it anymore she was 8 months when it happened

my aunts told me put hotsauce on the pacifier
