My sons about to be 2 and doesn't quite talk yet, he sorta does like I understand what he's trying to say but it still comes out like baby talk. I read that boys sometimes take longer to talk, have any of you had this problem?

How long did it take before he actually started saying more? @morganmommy79,

My son said very few words till he was two. Even then it was limited. My daughter talked from 6 months on. I've always heard boys take longer too

@btorr35, it wasn't long after he turned two. Just took off with it then but was a lot slower than my daughter at speaking.
