Can someone please give me some encouragement? A friend of mine had a baby close to when I did, but…

I know I need to be going to school, I just need to feel like I'm making a good decision.... @beebaby, @samanthapap

We own a home and had money saved up, but we've blown through that since my ppd and ppa were bad enough to keep me a sahm. I had to borrow a lot of $ from parents to pay bills. Don't feel bad at all. You are getting done what needs to get done and your kids are happy and healthy, and fed and clothed. You are doing wonderfully

everyone is different and you cannot expect the same life as someone else. as long as you strive for something and doing the best you can, you are not a failure. keep going to school. get your degree. @keepingupwithhj

everyone take different path but it doesn't say you cant come out just successful as her..you guys are doing great and dont allow someone else's life make u feel like yours dont matter. you have your guy and your baby and you guys are making it work together. we all have obstacles in the road but its better to go thru with it with the one u love. and she may not be all that happy just because she seem to have it together. stay encourage your doing a great job!

I feel you. All my friends were buying houses and I was pregnant, in school, and not working. Well I graduated and with my degree I got a great paying job that works with my hours and we don't pay for a daycare and we got out money figured out and got a house... so moral of story it may seem u are behind but you are in school to better yourself and get s job that pays god so one day you will be there and with a degree. That's awesome thing to have and to know you accomplished that and a baby is a proud moment. So don't worry about struggling now or after you get your degree cuz a few months later you will slowly catch up and then be able to save and be where they are or above them in things

@keepingupwithhj, it is nice but we did get a small house so we new we could keep up with the payments but honestly I think your right on track! Never met a college student that also has kids to take care of not needing some help or not living paycheck to paycheck.

@keepingupwithhj everyones path in life is different. If your parents are able to help you out when you all need it, let them. Some are less unfortuate and don't have any help from their parents. Just know later on down the road when you are making better money you can give back. Also keep in mind that giving back doesn't always have to include money. There are other ways. In the mean time try to stay strong, be confident you are doing the right thing for your family. Stay positive us moms are here to help.

same with us, he is the sole provider and I go to college and am a sahm. it's not hard doing being a student and being an sahm. I just wish we didn't need help, I am use to help providing for us and I liked that I was able to. now that I'm not I feel like I don't accomplish much. so I just thing of all of the positives things, I get to bond with my daughter and watch her grow, knowing that going to school can provide a more stable and better life for us in the future.

Think of it this way. You are going to school to better not just your future but the future of your family. Once you are done things will get easier. Keep pushing through and don't get discouraged. It's great for your friend that everything is going well for them but don't feel like a failure. Your hard work will pay off in the end.
