he might have a bladder or kidney infection. often times urinary frequency or urgency in dogs points to other health problems. you should get him checked out asap. best of luck & I hope it's nothing serious

@psychomomhasalibi, he was literally just at the vet and was checked for that:/ he is completely fine and healthy said it's a mental thing! Like we don't smack him or anything! He's a really good dog besides this!

It could be a dominance thing too

maybe he's jealous of your newish baby & is doing it to get your attention

Maybe its the cold weather? Our new puppy does this exact same thing. Were pretty sure its because its cold and she doesnt want to be outside for a second longer than she needs to be.

I'd say it's the cold..my dog does this and she'll turn right back around to come in. She hates the cold lol I feel bad cause it's not fair to leave her out there so it doesn't bother me but we have a sealed stone porch
