Right I'm gonna sound like a right donut but I'm confused by all this weaning malarkey! Can somebody shed some light please?? Poppy has one pouch of Ella's kitchen for lunch then normally 3/4oz of milk with it then will have another half a pouch for tea and 5oz of milk.. but I read they should still have their normal amount of milk plus the food but she's not that hungry for milk she'd rather eat so she's having more food an only about 16oz of milk a day?? I'm like having a breakdown 😂 but I can't force her to have milk so what do I do?? When do they start dropping bottles for food?? 😩

hettie has 2 bottles a day! 2 proper ones anyway. 9oz in morn and 9oz before bed. through day we make her 5oz bottles but she wont have em, just food now :( but we have worked out if we give her weetabix...mash tattie... thinks where we can put her formula milk in then least shes still getting the milk :)

Florence has 7oz at 6am then porridge at 9ish followed by 4oz milk then a 7oz at 1ish dinner and pudding at 4pm then a bottle at 6ish before bed she's never taken more then 7oz even before we stared weaning x

my lo dropped 10-15oz when we started weaning him he has 25oz a day now with two meals a day. I used to get so worried that he wasn't having enough aswell lol xx

hettie loves it. hv told us to try getting 20oz down her still. she loves weetabix though so thats easy one to get down her with, mash tatty and swede too we mix her milk in that and obbiously porridge too xx
