Ugh! Our damn car won't start again! 🙄😤 SO tired of putting money in it for the same issue! 😒

Whats wrong with it?

@twillightrose, it won't start... you open the door all the lights are on, you go to turn the key, and the lights go out, like the battery is dead... but it has a fully charged battery! That was the first thing we replaced... then when it happened a second time, we replaced the alternator, still did not start... so my hubby took the battery back, and they tested it said it was fully charged! So they cleaned the terminals really good and the car started! 🙄we know It's not the started, because it's acting like it's getting no power. While they were replacing the alternator they noticed a small leak in the radiator, so they patched the hole and added stop leak... apparently the cooling housing that attaches to the motor also had a leak, and when they added the stop leak it created a seal, but the piece was too weak and it blew a hole in the housing when they finally got it started and took it for a test drive... it dumped the entire content of the cooling system onto the motor! 😒 SO almost $400 later... the car is still doing the same thing! 😓 so I'm thinking it's a bad battery terminal cable... or a short someplace... the battery cables are about $30 each, plus the time to fix it... and if that does not do the trick we are going to have to tow it to a mechanic and have them look it over! They will look at it for free, but typically repairs like that start at $300 and go up from there!

@twillightrose, it's the first real issue we've had with it in 2 years... it's paid for and with the new baby coming... we are really trying to avoid getting a car payment! 😓

@twillightrose, well hubby took off all of the terminals, cleaned them really good, and it's working again! 🙄 now hopefully it stays fixed!
