What's your personal opinion of how long you should wait before having your second child. I can't decide if I want to start trying again or wait a while. 😔

I honestly wish I would've waited. my kids are 2 yrs apart exactly...it's very stressful because my 2 year old is still needy and doesn't really understand everything 100% with having a new baby around. I wish I could've waited till she was 3 to even try so then she'd be closer to 4 by the time I'd have the baby...at that age they can play by themselves when you need to tend to baby. my 2 year old wants my attention all the time...

I wouldn't say its better for yourself either to have them back to back @raquely ....I feel like it's very stressful on yourself and I just feel like a hot mess all the time....and it's hard to keep up on the house....double the diapers...it's Def more trying. having kids close together.

I had my daughters back to back. My oldest daughter was only 5 months when I found out I was pregnant again. Definitely not planned and it's definitely hard with two under two but it's not so hard as to where it's unmanageable, especially if you have a solid support team. My oldest daughter despite being so young already loves her little sister and walks around the house saying, "baaaaabyy" 😭😍 she loves to "hold" her and is a big help with getting small things like a diapar or bib. I know for a fact they'll definitely be close growing up and even more so because their both girls and will be going through the same things together as they grow and mature into young ladies. It's hard and most nights I'm wayyyy exhausted but I wouldn't do it any different if given the chance. And I most definitely use my daughters clothes that don't fit her anymore 😂

@hiswifetheirmama @raquely Ladies they're all opinions on how long you would wait. There's no right or wrong answer, please don't bash each other just because you have different opinions.

I just had my first and the soonest I want me next one is when I get a house of my own( 2years from now) or my original plan was wait till my daughter is 11 so she could have mom and dad alone before a sibling comes

Well I have a 3 month old now and plan to at least wait till she is 2 to start trying again that way I can have till about 3 to just focus on her development and give her her deserved time. She has been a great baby... rarely cries and isn't very needy, but I'm scared that my next would be the complete opposite of her and I wouldn't be able to give her her time because mommy now has to take care of a smaller baby's needs. My brother had a second who is very needy 4 months after his first. (Unplanned) He is very smart for a 1 year old, but the new baby is so needy that he's sort of forced himself to become more independent. He loved going on walks to the forest or beach whenever he wanted to and he quickly learned he couldn't go anymore in the mornings because of the baby napping... or mom couldn't play because of the baby again. He even says the baby is too loud and doesn't really want to play with his mom anymore. She feels like he may resent it a bit, but there is nothing she could do about it. I just think my daughter is great and want to enjoy her for a little while. Besides, your body needs time to recover from your first.. I don't want to wait too long either because I don't want them that far apart as a personal choice. But bottom line it is about what you and your husband decide... these are all just opinions and only you get to decide so no need for the ladies to get all flustered by simple opinions. If you are financially and mentally stable for it, do as you please when you please. Good luck darling. 😊

I think 2 years or so apart is perfect cause my siblings and I were all about 2 years apart (I'm 22, sister 20, brother 18, sister 15)
That being said I am going to wait till Ryder is school age for another. If I was a sahm I might go sooner but it was hard enough with one haha
