We did oatmeal at 4 months. The doctor said so long as he could hold his head up and sit pretty well, and showed interest in our food we could give it a try. But she told us not to put it in his bottle. Something about overeating.
@jaidensmommy, I was told not to do it before 6 months because their stomach is not fully developed enough to eat anything. That is why they recommend to wait till 6 months

@beverlystory13, yesss thanks! I knew it was a reason to why but some say adding a little baby oatmeal or cereal to their bottle will help. I've heard it is certain kinds that are good for ages 4-6 months but it's like just those specific kind
