So my husband and I went to the store today. We were checking out & before he even opened his wallet the cashier says, "You can slide your food stamp card now." My husband said we don't have food stamps. I'm still in shock that he assumed that.

@shylamarie my husband was offeneded. All he could do was shake his head. I was just in shock.Then he tried to apologize. He said a lot of people come in with it.

@datnavajogirl exactly. I used to be a cashier and when someone ebt card didn't go through or misswiped it I would say can you swipe the card again or if they used two cards and used the any first I'd say can you swipe the first card again. I never said someone business out loud.
