Wanted to post my labor story since I didn't have this app yet after my baby was born. (She's almost 4 weeks old now) It was January 5th the day after my due date. I had random cramps contractions all morning, then a doctors appointment at 2:30 where I was 2cm dilated. After that me and my bf did some shopping went out to eat and then walked the mall for 2 hours the whole time I was having contractions that were irregular and not painful. So convinced that I'd be pregnant forever I went home and relaxed. Got up to walk to the living room around 7:45 and had a contraction that broke me out in a cold sweat. Then I knew it was the real deal after that they were strong painful and coming every 2-3 mins. I

Got to the hospital around 9 and was 3cm dilated when they admitted me after an hour or two of labor I was at 5cm and they stared my IV fluids so I could get my epidural. In the mean time they gave me something to take the edge off and from there things are kinda fuzzy but what I remember is they were having trouble monitoring her heart rate. So with no warning the doctor came in and broke my water and attached a monitor to her head. Then not long after that they finally came in to do my epidural. Which was around 1-1:30. My pain instantly turned into pressure and I felt like I needed to push but she wasn't down far enough yet. Then with every contraction her heart rate started to drop so the next hour consisted of nurses moving me around shoving pillows under me making me move from side to side to try to keep her heart rate up and as she got lower it wasn't helping. so around 2:30 in the morning all of a sudden there's at least 5 nurses and two doctors in my room they flipped the "show time" lights on and said that the cord may be wrapped around her neck so they were going to

Use the vacuum to get her out as fast as possible. I pushed twice and her head was out then one more time and she was born at 2:56 am. She weight 6lbs 1oz and was 19ins long.
