When did your kids start to say real words and sentences? This girl on my Facebook has a boy who just turned 1 yesterday. She said when he got his flu shot they asked if he was okay and he said "No you broke my leg". My son is almost 11 and isn't saying words like that. I know all kids learn at different paces, but just curious if my son is behind?

Uh no my son doesn't say full sentences yet maybe it was in his own language that she understood lol cuz that's really advanced

I read that by two years old they should be putting three word sentences together.

@ecahanes, okay good! My nephew is 2 and doesn't say those kids of sentences yet. I was like my kid can't be that far behind, he's just a baby haha

My son is 11 months and only says momma, dadda, and nanna. Your son is fine, and isn't behind. I kind of think that girl on your Facebook may be lying. Or he was talking jibber and they thought they heard him say that. But every baby is different
