So I filed for child support back in June 2016 a few weeks after Tinley was born, but they still have yet to serve her father papers although they have everything they need and know exactly where he is.
I finally stopped pushing it, but I kinda want to start pushing for them to get him because it would help with getting diapers and the things she needs, but I don't want him to see her at all. He wasn't there during my pregnancy, and has NEVER tried to see her since she's been born. He also doesn't even know her name or anything as far as I know. He doesn't contact to even ask about her.
I'm stuck on what to do. I know if we go to court they will let him do visitations unless he says he doesn't want to. It's been almost a year since she's been born so why even bother to see her now if we was to go to court!? 😩😩😩

In most states if a parent goes a year with no contract they lost there rights. I have a 5 or old and got with my husband when I was 5 months pregnant and he was there for us. Last yr he adopted him without the bio dad giving consent because he hadn't seen talked or saw my son in a year

@britt16, have you called to see what's the status on it? If you guys ever do go to court don't hold nothing back tell the judge everything! And make sure you save every receipt of everything you buy your daughter! So can tell the judge look your the one that supports her not him in case anything.

I'll have to check into it and see if that's how it is here. I know my brother knows a girl that had a baby and the dad to her baby said he didn't want anything to do with it. So they took his rights, but he still has to pay child support. $600 every week. @momof3cuties,

I don't have the receipts, but if I could get someone to hack into my old Facebook there are messages on there where I told him about every appointment and told him he could see her whenever. I don't know my password to get on there and it won't let me reset it. && no I haven't called to check. Last time I called was back in November I think and they said that everything I have them came back verified and they got him address verified an everything, but they just don't do anything. @faithfulmom26,

If they have tried to serve him and he wasn't there and someone might have seen, he could have know what's coming and just avoid getting served so that in court (at a later date) he could say he never received anything and depending on the judge get more sympathy.

Ha! Nvm I just read where you said he wasn't served...my bad it's early lol. Idk how it's there but the system takes forever to go through the motions to get it all started.
