so ladies am I wrong?
my hubby ( we aren't getting along ) who is a addict has been nonstop asking me to take our daughter to visit his mom ( alcoholic) who hates me n who pretty much wanted me to have an abortion... has met our daughter once ...wants me to let Venice our daughter and my husband visit her and stay with her a state away from me keep in mind my daughter is recovering from whooping cough.....n I keep saying hello no...n my husband says he wants a divorce over this ...like how dumb are u?

I don't think your wrong at all! @mluvs7, if you ever need someone to talk to I'm here, kinda going through the same situation with the addict part.

No!!! my mother is an alcoholic and I will not allow my future children to be around her without me there because I do not trust her... or anyone else for that matter with my future kids

@mluvs7 no that's definitely not mean at all!! i'd keep them away from your husband since he's an addict and their grandma since shes an alcoholic because that can be a risk of you losing your kids having them around addicts that's why my kids will not be around my parents much and they will not be left alone with my parents

and also my parents are the kinda parents who lie to people and would tell people that I leave my kids with them all the time and they'd go to court to try to get custody of my kids and try to get them taken away from me so that's also another reason why when I get pregnant and have my first child I will not let them come around much

@amberjacq yeah I've been wanting a divorce.. cause he just can't stay sober n think straight...this just seals the deal...my kids deserve better

You're super strong I know many women that put up with it. I'm glad to see that there are still some women that think of the children first rather than their own needs. Or feel kids need a dad in their life. Not true, not if he's not a good role model.
