Hi. I'm new here. I'm also a ftm to a 16 month old boy who is my whole world. I have 2 questions that I was hoping you could possibly help with. So my son is 16 months old. I was wondering when other mommies transferred their little ones into toddler beds and how you know they are ready. And how to know when to start potty training and any tips to start potty training a little boy lol. I've never done this before (I helped with my friends daughter but that was 6yrs ago and it was a girl). I'm sorry if I sound dumb. Please be nice.

my advise don't do both at the same time. I started my son with both at about a year old. I'd change to a toddler bed and let him get used to that then start potty training. I let my son go on a potty chair while I go on the toilet

Sleeping wise I would start with nap time first. Put him in his toddler bed at nap and see how he does. As for potty training I use to put Cheerios in the toilet and told my son to aim for them lol and if he did it he would get washable tattoos he loved going to the bathroom because it was always a game to him plus he got tattoos. you could put him in the toddler bed but if I were you I would put the guards up and just keep an extra eye on him and see how he adjusts
