So just got a letter from Child Support. My oldest daughter's biological father owes $17,424.00. This surprised me bc I haven't received or made an action since 2010..some months after her birth. I'm not quite sure if I read it right but I think it mentioned locking him up. His payments were $264/monthly but it's demanding him $55 immediately...I guess. He's never been employed...unless under the table jobs (if that). I'm like WOW bc I have been financially supporting her all her life, never asked him for a dime. I applied for TANF and that's how all this came about..it was manditory or no child care assistance. I don't feel bad tho bc he's aware of her && he feels since my bf claims her as his own, he gets off the hook. I wish him just to get his life together for his future and maybe future kids bc a BUM ain't it. All his friends having babies and here he is the first one with a child but is ABSENT. I'm planning to attend his only siblings (sister) baby shower who is having the 2nd grandchild, 1st boy of his side. I'm bringing my oldest but told them nothing about the nature of their relationship is to be brought up to her. It's what me and my bf talked on bc he's afraid she will come back confused and acting out or think he doesn't love her anymore. She will not learn about them until she's 18...when she can make her own decision. We've given and still giving her the best we can && him or his family have never treated her any different than the rest. She's a beautiful girl && I don't want my little Apple spoiled by the rot real daddy's side brings.
