My after my son turned 2 in March I waited till July to start. He was fighting me to change his diaper and would go long periods of time dry. We did the 3 day boot camp. We stayed at home for 3 days in underwear only and would go to the potty every 45 min. Lots of juice and water to drink so he had to go. I used the "time to potty" pull ups app for our timer. It would let him choose a fun game if he went in the toilet. I also made a sticker chart so he could see his accomplishments. One sticker for pee two stickers for poo. Each chart had about 30 squares. When he filled up the chart he got to pick a prize from the "Potty prize" bucket. I filled it with fun dollar store stuff that I knew he'd like. We did this until all the toys were gone (about 8 prizes). By then he was doing great. He had to wear a diaper during nap time and bed time. No diaper at nap in October and no diaper during bed this month. We are officially out of diapers all together. Just make sure your boy is ready. It won't go well if it's forced.
