I had the same problem with my first son buy never heard anything from anyone. I still breast fed him, just changed my diet but still gave formula too

It's nobodies business but yours what you do.

I never breast fed any of my three I felt it would be a frustrating feeling and I didn't ever want to be frustrated at my baby. All of mine are in perfect health and very happy kids. Sometimes people breastfeed, feed their kids organic everything, fruits, veggies, the whole nine yards and their kids end up loving McDonald's and stuff. I think fed is best so do what you feel is right for YOUR child :)

FED IS BEST!! I formula fed my son and probably will with my little one that's coming this summer. You know no matter what or how you do anything with your child, unfortunately someone will criticize it.

Try your hardest to ignore it. I know it's tough. You do what is best for you and your baby and that is all that matters!

Oh and my formula fed kiddo is turning out amazing! He is so big, strong and healthy! He had a milk protein allergy also and we made it through it.

@dmgraham06 thanks that mean alot to me I worry every day about my son's milk allergy. I worry will he out grow it or will he have it forever. But I guess only time will tell that

@davidmom, my son was about 7 or 8 months when we took him off nutrimigen and put him on Enfamil Gentlease. So yes he did grow out of it. It's all trial and error unfortunately. He had been on solids for awhile and was doing really well so we took the chance and switched him. We were lucky.

thank you @dmgraham06 I hope he out grows his time but I am prepared if he don't he is almost 6 months and still can't do anything with milk or dairy in it at all

I found that some women get really into breastfeeding that they shun you if you don't because it's a major bonding and very healthy for the child. I had to supplement because I wasn't producing enough for my boy. I really wanted to breastfeed but he was starving first month that didn't matter what I wanted to do I had to supplement . Don't worry about what people think you do what is right for you and your baby. In the 60s mostly everyone bottle fed and they all turned out healthy
