My sister in law brought her little dog over while we're having a family gathering well I asked everyone if they touch the dog to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer(that I put out) they didn't bring anything to put the dog in and I really don't want my daughter around the dog due to her being so little well like no one is listening to me about it and saying I need to relax its just a dog so now I'm the only one holding my daughter or she goes in the pack-n-play because they can't respect me enough to do what I ask in my own home am I over reacting

Well they don't want their dog to miss apart of family time but now my daughter can't really be apart of it because their damn dog @brendabravo93,

Haha it a dog. I would tell my sister no more. Your little one is more family that a dog. I mean my dogs are treated like family in my house hold but my nephew is highly allergic so when they come over we put them away. I then scour my house too to bottom so no hair or little as possible. Because they are more important than a dog being around and plus my dogs aren't usually kenneled so being kenneled one day it's a big deal So I would let me sister know that and tell her in your house her dog is no longer welcomed

they should of put thw dog up in the bathroom or something. i have 5 dogs and if people come over i out them up. i have a friend who has a 6 month old and ahe brings her over i just put the dogs up and clean the house so baby dosent get sick. or just tell her to not bring the dog. my doctor told me after i had my daughter to keep her around animal dogs to not get allergies. she might might be allergic to cats my family dosent have cats. @clara_eakin
