For any moms that have the mirena or had it, did you ever get a period with it? I've had it for 6 months and this is the first time I've had a period. And it seems to be like a normal period and not a light one so far. Idk if I should be worried or not. I had really bad pain in my pelvic area and stomach a couple days ago and couldn't really walk or do anything because it hurt so bad.

It's honestly only like a 1 or 2% chance of anything like that even happening. I've found that it takes your body a bit to get used to it and evened back out, especially after birth.

@jacesterlingsmommy, @heidi3581, ok thank you. I was just worried since I didn't have any bleeding the past 6 months except when I had it inserted. I'm just scared about it moving since that tends to happen to some women and I'm prone to getting the worse things

I have it and my periods are irregular. I'll bleed for 3 days then it'll go away... 2 weeks later I'll spot for a few days again. Nothing consistent😒😒

@jacesterlingsmommy, @klp16, so it's different for everyone then?

With my first Mirena I didnt have a period for 3 years, then I had it removed. I have one again now, and for the first year no period. Then 14 months after I had it I started having light periods every 4 weeks on the dot, and there was one missed period when they first started

This is my second one and my period has gone away. I know it's normal to spot or have a lighter than normal period. I actually just had a bad cramp the other day. Sometimes it can make them worse. Usually for me I don't get them.
