if you're over 30 you're parents definitely gave/did something like that when you were a babe. my mother in law said something like rice wine maybe I can't remember. what's the difference between on the soother and rubbing it on the gums? probably same amount of alcohol.

not sure if it's a huge difference @macymarie on the tongue or soother I just never heard of that specific method. Some may have the intention of putting baby to sleep or simply numbing the gums.
