Happy 2nd Birthday Chandler.
My Little Birdie,
I cannot even begin to believe another year has passed so quickly. You’re 2 today {even though some I think you’re going on 16}. Your laughter and smile can light up a room the second you walk in it. If these 2 years of your life show any indication of what the rest of your life will be we have no doubt that you will be amazing, beautiful, outgoing, one of the most stubborn people on planet earth, and you will shine! I just need to learn how to push my little bit of sadness aside and come to realize you are growing up. As much as I may wish for my babies to remain babies, I know you can’t be babies forever. You need to learn and explore. You need to grow and figure out who you want to be and what you want from life. I need to let my birdie fly.
In the meantime, I have loved every single second of watching you learn and explore and grow. You are turning from a baby to a child far too quickly, I hate it.
I would love to keep you exactly how you are at this moment forever, but I know I can’t. What I can do is cherish every single second of right now. Listen to your giggles and tickle your belly and legs as much as possible.
I have no doubts that you will conquer every obstacle in your future. You are wonderful. You are amazing. You are worthy. You are gorgeous. You are you. Don’t be like the rest of them darling.
